Hardest Thing
Which do you think is the harddest accomplishment to achieve in Guild Wars?
I'll give you a couple choices and I'd like you to respond with which one and why you think that. ( I realize thier will be some fights between the PvE camps and the PvP camps.)
A. Complete all parts of Mallyx the Unyielding and the Citadel part.
B. Fight all the way to HoH (no hall skipping) and hold it for 2 or more rounds.
C. Take your guild from unranked toa top 100 guild.
D. Clear UW/FoW in one run.
E. Get FoW armour.
Edit: F. get a R 10+ account
Edit: G. Anything I forgot.
edit: You may not use ebay for any of these.

Not A) All pve is stupidly easy as soon as you do it with a decent group and use a build designed to beat it.
Not D) See A)
Not E) See www.ebay.com
That leaves a contest between B and C.
I think proabably B because at the moment you can take 7 particularly bad players, give them 1 decent strat caller and Searing Flames your way into the top 100 in a matter of hours. Top 100 GvG is a long way off where it used to be.

c) not hard any guild started unraked even top 100's one
d) not hard , you just need the time to make the run and a decent team.
e) depends there are people who farm all day and there are people who dropped a serpent axe in hoh and they both have a FoW
most of your hard thing are really more "if you grind enough you will get it"
|
"If you grind enough you will get it" IS the defination of "Hard to get" in a PvE setting >_>
EDIT: That sounded negative. Let me explain...It isn't a bad thing really, just how PvE works, if you have time and patience its yours. Atleast here. We have no real raids or anything, Mallyx is the closest we have. Everything esle can basically be henchied.

Same thing can be said for PvP. Grind and patience.
sounds like Brother Andicus is a little PvP sore.

I dunno about mallyx as ive never tried him
Gettin rank 100 can be hard but if you get lucky and get wtfowned by rank 8 or somthing youll be 0- top 110 easy
fow/uw in one run can be easy in a gd team, how about solo in one that would be hard
I think the hardest thing is r10 tbh as fow is more or less grinding but r10 takes skill and grinding (unless you win the first round a million times or somthing in which case its proberly more grinding than fow anyway)

I'd go for some of the titles, though you could say that technically, that's not difficult just requires patience.

G. Putting up with the gw community in-game with a severe lack of anger management ability.
The rest listed are just a matter of knowing how to do them....fow <1 week if one were so inclined to struggle to show bad taste with the exception of paragon fow armor. Example B. done with heros :P

Hardest Thing: seeing a warrior decked out in full FoW using Mending in DoA. Nearly shot myself right then and there.... Or maybe it's getting a decent rank (10+), due to all the grind. Or maybe it's dealing with that all PvPers that have their heads up their ass >_>
A) Difficult to accomplish in 1 run, due to the sheer ammount of TIME it takes.
B) NOT getting a hall skip is hard.
C) Nah, just find the right build and the world is your oyster.
D) See A.
E) Not hard at all. Well, it might be hard now, because farming Ecto and Shards isn't as easy as it used to be.
F) That might be hard, due to the massive ammount of grind you'd have to do.

I think getting a guild to top 100 would be hardest for me personally.

What about Legendary Defender of Ascalon. I think it would be hardest to get because I would probably shoot myself before getting it X(. So much grind!

It's a video game. There's nothng hard about it at all. If anyone find the game hard, they're in for a hell of a shock when real life gets a hold of them.

Maybe you should seperate this poll more clearly between Grind and Hard,
getting Legendary defender of ascalon is a Grind, but hardly any difficulty at all.
is death leveling really that "hard" or just a grind?
if you are talking about hard/difficulty of course PVP requires more skill etc.

H. A hard-core PvEer to be able to honestly compare PvE feats with PvP ones.
(note the "HARD-CORE" designation.)

the hardest accomplishment is any of your mentioned option + having a health real life at the same time.

ok god knows this has been beaten to death but(sorry mods) just because you believe fow armor is unattainable to you does not mean fow is bought on ebay.i say this with no argumentative nature, but seriously not that obsid is not bought by some, but to make such a broad generaliztion is just wrong.now im not saying i have obsid or not im just saying that, yes you can earn it,and don't generalize please.
